Welcome to my website. My name is Bob Bickers and I'm an artist based in Murrysville,
Pennsylvania (just east of Pittsburgh). Most of my paintings are in oil or acrylics
and I produce fine digital photographs. My photographs include literally pretty much
anything under the sun, but mostly consist of a variety of landscapes. My paintings
are extremely varied as well, and include portraits, landscapes, still lifes and
space art.

The images on this website include both paintings and photographs. Besides making my labels clear, I have distinguished the two by giving my photographs a white border. Clicking on thumbnail images will produce a larger version. All measurements are given in inches when not indicated otherwise.
Regarding pricing and availability: paintings available for sale and their prices are clearly marked. Sold paintings are indicated as well. Note that paintings displayed in art shows will often have special prices that will be honored during the exhibitions. Additional information on pricing and how to make a purchase of original artwork, giclees, and photographic prints is given on the contact/buy page. Most original artwork is available immediately, but those that are on loan or committed to exhibitions will be available when those commitments are completed.
Finally, I am available for commissions. If there is a particular subject you would like me to paint, or are interested in a portrait, contact me for additional information.

The Bickers Family on July 20, 1969, photograph, 1969. My father took this picture the night Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon (I’m next to the TV). This picture appeared on The Cosmic Log on MSNBC.com in an article on the moon landing and was the subject of an art show and lecture by me July, 2009, on the Apollo landing.
